OFFICE:
The registered office of the Society shall be in Chandigarh.
MEMBERSHIP:
The membership shall constitute of persons who belong to Society of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care (SPCCC) and are interested in charitable work. Persons seeking membership shall agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the Association.
Membership Fee and Subscription Fee:
Founder members will subscribe with a Fee of Rs. 2000/- towards Life-Membership.
The annual subscription fee for Society Members will be Rs.500 and for Life Membership Rs. 3,000/-.
Corporate Members will subscribe with annual fee of Rs. 50,000/-.
These figures may be changed by the Society from time to time.
Consequences of Non-Payment of Subscription Fee:
In case of a member does not pay his subscription fee for three months, he shall be expelled from the membership of the Society.
Fines and Forfeitures:
In case of a member does not pay his subscription fee in a time, a fine of Rs. 1/- shall be paid for every day of delay. In case of a member does not pay his subscription fee for three months, he shall not be only be expelled from the membership but whatsoever subscription fee has been paid by him shall stand forfeited. The Governing body shall have the power to waive off the fine.
Resignation / Expulsion / Vacancy of Member Office Bearers:
A member may be expelled from membership of the Society by 2/3rd majority of members voting for the resolution, if he is found not abiding by the Rules and Regulations of the Society, or is found engaged in activities the aims and objects of the Society. A member also loses his membership if he resigns, becomes of unsound mind or convicted of a criminal offence by a court of law in India. A person ceases to be a member in case of non-payment of membership fee or fine thereon. A person also loses his membership if he does not attend three successive meetings of the Society. The membership of a person come to an end in case any member dies. Such a vacancy or vacancies created by aforesaid reasons shall be filled by 2/3rd majority of members voting. The membership in case of death of a member is not hereditary.
Re-Admission:
If any member of the Society is expelled by the Governing body on the reason of non-payment of subscription fee, he can be re-admitted provided the member concerned pays all up to date dues and fines with permission of the Governing Body.
GENERAL BODY
Formation:
The supreme authority of the Society shall vest in the General Body, which will consist of all the members of the Society.
Powers and Functions:
Meeting:
Quorum: Minimum of 2/3rd members at any meeting shall constitute the quorum of the General Body meeting.
GOVERNING BODY
Formation: There shall be a Governing Body of the Society to assure and fulfil the aims and objects and carry out its business and other affairs. The Governing Body would be formed/elected from amongst the members of the General Body.
Meetings: Meeting of the Governing Body shall be convened at least once every month. It may even meet more than once if it deems necessary to carry out the business of the Society. Under normal circumstances a notice of 10 days shall be given to convene a meeting for the Governing Body. However, in case of emergency a short notice of 24 hours can also be issued.
Quorum: A minimum of 2/3rd members present at a meeting would be enough to constitute the quorum of the meeting of the Governing Body.

The Society shall have the following members as the Governing Body deemed in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Society—
Mode of Election/Tenure of office bearers: The members of the Governing Body shall be elected out of the General Body by secret ballot/voice vote. Each office bearers shall be elected for a term of two years. On the expiry of two years, the new body shall be elected within the frame work of the Rules and Regulations of the Society. As soon as the new body is elected the old one shall cease to function and would hand over charge to the new body without delay. In case of death of an office bearer, his office would be fulfilled by electing another member by 2/3rd majority of the members voting. The post of office bearers is not hereditary.

Legal Advisor: To aid and advise the members of the Society on legal aspect of the matter and to ratify the procedures and working of the Society so as to ensure smooth functioning of the Society.
Executive Members:
Annual List of Governing Body: Once in every year list of the office bearers and the Executive members of the Governing Body of the Society entrusted with the management of its affairs shall be filed in the office of the Registrar of Societies as required under section 4 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860, on or before the 14th day succeeding the day of Annual General meeting of the Society. In case of delay in filling this list, the Registrar of Society shall charge the prescribed fine not exceeding Rs. 50/-.
