Pediatric cardiac care in India is witnessing remarkable advancements in recent years, through cardiological and surgical procedures, and pre-operative and post-operative intensive care. At the forefront of this progress is increasing public awareness and availability of funds through government-funded healthcare schemes. In this background, the 3^rd Annual Meeting of Society of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care (SPCCC-2025) is being organised by the Department of Pediatric Cardiac Intensive care at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Narayana Health, Bengaluru on April 12-13, 2025.

Through a series of keynote lectures, skill stations, work stations, demonstrations, case-based discussions and panel discussion, experts will collaborate to address a spectrum of topics ranging from early detection of congenital heart defects to intensive medical and nursing care for critically ill children with heart disease, both during pre-operative stabilization of patients and post-operative management. The conference would provide an interdisciplinary platform to share the latest insights, research findings, and clinical experience in the field of pediatric cardiac emergency and intensive care, in an environment of continuous learning and professional growth, nurturing the next generation of medical and paramedical professionals. Specialists from the country and abroad would work together to develop formal academic programs in this relatively new subspecialty in the country.

Additionally, a one-day Workshop on Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Nursing is being organized on April 13, 2025.
